Just came of the point at Beadnell. 1 Wrasse! Ledgering Ragworm on the deck, as the northerly has the sea right up! Float would of got smashed up! Tried a few lures but water manky! Gonna have another go tomorrow with the float, if sea doesn't drop might hit Dunstanbrough. Where's this Summer !!

A few of us fished Dunstanburgh on Tuesday and it was rubbish. Tried baits on bottom, float fishing and a bit of spinning for about an hour and not a bite between the 3 of us. Water had a bit too much colour and I suspect its worse now. For what its worth, my advice would be to try somewhere else! Plenty of small flounder to be had on Embleton beach.

Cheers Lads. It wasnt a monster, I'm up at the Caravan Joe at Boulmer. Heading back out in the morning somewhere. My pals driving up to meet me. Fingers crossed.
