Belated valentines day present

Well one of the lads left a bit of bait on the boat for me to use so I thought I would take our lass out for the day as I couldn't take her out Friday night as planned due to unforeseen circumstances. So we left at 0700 into a nice flat sea and light winds we put the anchor in and put the kettle on and before it had time to boil I pulled in a nice codling about 4lb I looked at her and said happy valentines day I no sooner got the words out of my mouth and she was pulling a codling in then another then another then another anyway she ended up with 6 codling heaviest about 6lb and I ended up with 3 not bad for 4 hours we would have stayers out longer but we ran out of bait that we had been given who said romance was dead
