anyone used BERKLEY FIRELINE in 10lb (.21).not the thinnest but seems popular down south for clean beach fishing.anyone that has used it give me some feed back on what it cast like ect
cheers

Being a fused line and not a braid it fluffs up after a while but doesn't affect its strength significantly. I'm still using the same spool of 20lb I got in the late 90s.

ive used it in 15 and 20 for a few years as said its round and coated making it a bit thicker than some other braids but that makes it a bit more user friendly. ive used it on my abu 5500 and had no issues with it. also used it on fixed spools for lure and estury work. it will fade and get a bit wooly looking after a while but is fine.

Ive used this braid in 14 and 20ib for years on fixed spool reels.Ive got the 14lb on a 6000t reel coned to the top and by does the lead fly. I use it on clean beaches (backcasting) and don't get any bother with crack offs , ring wraps etc.

Casts great, even when it's fluffed up a bit and like using any braid really. It's less prone to wind knots too, infact I can't recall ever having one with fireline
