The ship on the quayside at eyemouth is ok for an overnight stay but st vedas at coldingham is the best (if it's still open), nice place and so are the people who run it and a cracking breakfast. Both very reasonable with prices to. There is one hotel in eyemouth that I would avoid like the plague though.

As above, st vedas at coldingham bay is a good hotel, it may be a little pricey if your just after a room for a night but it is comfortable, clean and get a good breakfast.

we are going up 26 may just for the sat night . i was thinking berwick just so we could head out for a few beers on the sat night, but thats not set in stone.
is the one at coldingham right on the sea front with a car park opposite? i think we parked in the car park when we fished coldingham, i'm nearly possitive it is now i think about it. it was still open in oct last yr so i dont see why not.

Yer, that's the one mate. It's a good location if yer want to fish coldingham plus if yer wanting to go on the sauce at night yev got the place itself (very quiet like), scoutscroft (heaving with jock chaves), the new inn or the best place, the anchor.

scoutscroft isnt too bad these days, used to camp there a few times a year when i was younger and it could get a bit rowdy, there is no tents anymore caravans, think this calmed the place down a bit.

It was better years ago before the divers accommodation was turned into an amusement arcade. I used to go there regularly up till about 3 years ago when it just became to much with the shouting and balling at night.

i would try the st vedas. my grandad used to own it when my dad met my mam, he says its what attracted him to her.
it caters for the surfers and the divers so its got a good drying room and secure storage which is great if its wet.

All right craig three of us are up nxt wkend we plan on campimg on sat night ready to fish on the suday when we hook up with chris elliot for a sess we mite see yous up there mate hope this weather changes tho
cheers pop:)
