county house sac had a trip aboard davy thompons boat on a promise out of berwick.
slow start but as the drift picked up so did the sport, nowt big.
biggest prob going 4lb.
final total for 12 anglers was 103 codling which a load went back to fight another day.
i had 19 codling all told of which most were taken on cooked prawn on flowing trace.
put more than half back though.

good tally for the day decent skipper decent boat and canny anglers too by the sound.

Great catch that They're at Berwick and Whitby so we need them to close in on the middle bit...

Good to hear they starting and the water is anything but clear off the Tyne with two types, cloudy close in and green with algi further off....Once thats gone i hope we get numbers like you had today
