Sorry to hear about the dog mate. I didn't want to post on that other thread where you mentioned it as the whole thread was ridiculous. An open invitation to argue, even naming the ones to argue with and then the descent into rubbish name calling that threads of that nature always do.
 
ok mark,my comment about burying my dog,may havebeen ott.but i did with draw it the next night.was also pleased there was no hard feeling with said person.{no said person was mentioned},were they.
 
Be careful what you wish for! I'd hate to see you go as well reg for threads like this.
I can only assume that eastpier has been banned for being a persistent trouble maker as from what I have seen he has not broken any rules...just bent them over...and over...and over.
What I mean is mods may see this as the same thing, if I am thinking along the right lines here.

I'll miss you eastpier! if your reading...probably better off on a footy forum anyway mate as I dont think I saw you post on the fishing part ever.

I know what you mean reg, I was just a bit surprised by his ban - if he has been banned for "banter" then who knows when the axe will fall next or who on.
He could have done something ridiculous over PM for example and been banned, I just personally did not see any rule breaking actions on the forum so id be careful!

well done, rule's are there because we need them, if people don't like them, they can go elswhere, or become a moderatore and do something about it.........!
 
C'mon lads banter is banter and every footy supporter especially leading up to and after a local derby want the bragging rights. Nowt wrong in that - however when the comments start to degrade into distasteful and venemous comment then moderators have the right and should step in. We should support our moderators when they do this. The posts went on for some time before action was taken and in my opinion were mostly crap anyway, and went far beyond acceptable local rivalry and banter.
 
well im with reg and not suprised he was banned and im glad to be honest as hes banter wasnt banter[banters supposed to be funny] it was insulting to folk no need for it, mind not that id let him get under my skin cos im better than that and more things to worry about to be honest but apart from that tight lines lads :Dyaahhhhhhhhooooooooooooooo

first off reg sorry about ur dog mate, ive got whippets who are loyal companions, part of the family, and I know the hole they leave behind, so im sorry mate. as far as eastpierlad goes... we all love fishing but nobody likes to be fished,by that I mean if no one had bit then eastpierlads original thread wouldn't have went past 2 posts, however the lads who the thread was aimed at didn't bite but kayos did when it had nowt to do with him and in my opinion his threads were just as bad as eastpierlads so whats good for one... anyway merry Christmas reg.

Quite a few Mod bashers on here...could you do a better job? Or put the voluntary unpaid time in running this playground? Prob not...it's a thankless task that puts you in the firing line constantly
