m not too sure century ? zziplex? .,....depends on ur casting ability mate....best ask in the casting forum if its just casting.....but this may open a big can of worms....

more concentration on always using a first class bait, the right venue, at the right stage of the tide will allways pay bigger dividends than the choice of rod, which in my opinion should be well down your list of priorities

like stewart says impossible question as EVERYone is different in shape, size, strengh and style so picking the right rod is a hard job as there are 100s of decent rods out there, one way is to try different rods off mates to see wat suits you

cxarbon metal crest is not a bad choice, i believe ther is a was lad on nesa selling one for about £140 , check the for sales it might still be there

If its only for beach you cant go wrong with the century tip tornado matey
that be my choice of weapon

:thumbup:thanks for the info chaps" am goona have a wee look at the century range

If you dont do much rough ground fishing and dont want a stiff rod id suggest a carbon metal BB, class rod, great caster, great bite detection. Absolutely love mine like, would advise not using it in the heavy stuff if youre fishing heavy ground beaches like
