Any reccomendations/help appreciated.

I've had both!

Ian golds one suited my OCD (a place for everything and everything in its place) Got pinched a year ago with all my reels, rigs etc etc

The salt one I have now is massive and suits my need to take everyhting I own :).......just in case

Ive just got an army issue Bergen off our kid its big but comfortable as owt mate. They are expensive new but if ya know anyone in the army they should be able to get ya one on the cheap or even for nowt. When I asked our kid he had a spare...... Ideal :)

As Alan says the army ruck sack is good I've had mine for years and for the long walks to marks in the summer there's nowt better if you can get one cheap enough. Also have the greys apollo which is good for beach fishing can hang it from your rod rest and move it with the tide also has a plastic waterproof base so if you do have to touch wet sand with it it won't hurt.
