3rd march now, and fish just about gone.
managed to sneak out 2 fish with my old pal jonesy





no double or open win this year which was the aim but the quantity of quality codling made up for it this year for me.
well done to the lads on here who managed. well done lads

Ha , i remember those last two fish mate, i had 2 blinkin doggies Well done on a class season Dean, you've got your just rewards for putting the time in with skill and knowledge. Whats been really good for me has been the good average size of the cod . Virtually nothing under 1 1/2-2ib and most in the 2-4ib range. Also been good to fish in some relatively warm/mild conditions.

Looks like you had a cracking season Dean, I couldn't even catch a sized cod in the fish mongers lol, still a chance of some spring run though fingers crossed.
