Bri, the sad fact was he continued to drink very heavily after his transplant. He did not die as a result of the transplant but because he didn\'t stop. Everytime I heard the word antibiotic mentioned I wanted to scream. His body was dissolving internally, it\'s what happens, it\'s horrible and little or no way back. This sanitising of his illness was sick, MANY people kids included can almost conclude that \"Antibiotics can cure the effects of long term terrible alcoholism.

Ell - i can only put on here what i have read - He didnt die of a liver transplant or any related liver issues - but yes he did continue drinking - but was it the drink that finished him OR the medication on his internal body (weakened throughout the years presumably from drink) thats what i was on about

transplants & medications dont matter. I rememember when every child in the world wanted to be GHorge Best and most of england was gutted coz he was Irish. Lots of peeps whatching the \"death news\" 2day may understand, if not, whatch the guy play football without prejudice.

at least i can HONESTLY tell my bairns i seen him play live ( I am only 38 ) and was 5 when he wrapped Football- might not be the proper league but that memory of sharing a bottle with King Kev will live with me forever.

My mate Adam from Brixton (Acid Adam to his mates) had forged a canny living through toshing out bits and bobs and did well because he was prepared to wrestle his money owed off people, if you get the drift. 5\' nowt but fists like hammers. Jacked it in for a while and was grafting across town Proper work, poor money. Coming back through Brixton station he was running up the escalators, work gear covered in honest muck, and brushed against some big fat Rastaman who said I quote \"Keep your dutty arse tings off me garms\" and took a swing. Acid Adam kept running to the top of the stairs. He got there and waited until Mr. Fucking Bullies head appeared at the top of the starirs. Adam waited for him to get on solid ground then knocked his fucking lamps out in a oner, kicked his jaw off and ran for for the hills.
