Big beach-S Shields

The week started canny but then went doon hill. Monday night caught 1 plaice, 1 flounder and 2 bass. The big one 17 " long, the other just 11". I didn't have scales but both bass were nice to catch.
Tuesday at same spot near the pier I fished alongside four other fellas, and we all got our share of flattys. All the fish I caught were on rag.
Wednesday caught nowt. It was the first time a blanked with my new gear, Gutted.
Thursday I coudn't make it, but I'm going back th-neet so here's hoping.

niceone trevor have you not tried other side of beach near trow rocks had some nice plaice off there past few weeks on rag and scallop frills.
