Big cod info needed

anybody know anything about a cod supposedly 17lb caught at the Rat House and another one of 14lb caught south of the Tyne.

but alas, all untrue....I speak to Andy Rutherford almost every day, and I reckon if a fish of around that size came from Rat House Corner, he would have probably weighed it, or at best heard about it...
Myself and a few pals fished, you know where, and had lots of fish (Monday night - ebb tide) lots of codlings between pound and a half and four pounds, pouting, coalies, EELS!!! I also had a big 3-beardy rockling. All manner of baits scored such as fresh crab, razor, squid, but for me it was big, juicy yellowtails that did the business. Cannat whackem!!

havent spoken to Andy, will be speaking to him tomorrow, as you say if a fish like that gets caught everyone gets to know eventually, especially andy. Anagrams now let me think what could it be mmmmmmmmmmmm
