mate and i fished roker pier today from 2.15pm til bout 8 pm and nevr heard of any big fish taken, lads coming of says plenty whiti and som good uns as wel, l seen 1 3lb cod taken barrier area and a few decent whitii, any body know what time it was caught

whats the script how was it landed? dropnet , handballed or walked round to steps?

I handballed it up as chris thought it was the best option i made sure he called it lol, am suffering for it now though as the 70lb shocker cut in to my hand lol, I was the guy with the 3 pounder, well done chris
Ps Chris rang me earlier and confirmed the weight it was 16.5 on quality scales it was caught at 1800.

Well done Chris - lovely fish. I'm well pleased for Chris but gutted for me. Was going to fish the pier tonight but probs wont even get on now for people going for more 16.5 lbers lol

I got a text of davy last night moments after it was caught was gutted had to work instead of going fishing like i wanted too But hey, theres still plenty time to bag myself one
