Hi, just a bit of info for you, first did you read about Stu Fords cod 38-8-0 and pic in the Journal on Sat. Unfortunately they missed a litle bit out. Other anglers had cod of 44lb, 48lb, and Dave Lewis had one of 51lb.

That \"additional info\" has really cheered me up. m8 - don\'t suppose there was any mention of one of them having an orange pirk already in its\' mouth, was there?......lol

always like to cheer people up, none had a pirk in it as none belive it or not came off wrecks, they all came from the ground. Most returned as well, couldnt exactly take a 40lb cod on a plane as hand luggae could one, not the done thing old chap.
 
I have always wanted to fish Norway for the big cod, they have package deals running most of the year round for groups....shame we could not get a group together and have a weekend fishing over there...hint hint :)
 
Well thats 3 so far..if we get a a few more we can start looking into it. The chances of catching a cod over 30lb from our waters is as poor as winning the thunder ball :) and I would not want to kill a fish of such size and age so putting it back after a pic would be all i wanted.

Richy got the brochure yesterday and have had a quick glance and you are talking a car an 4 people for a week with boat included about 400 quid each. There are also a few places listed where you can charter a boat and skipper. Will try and put some prices together for thursday if you coming.
 
There is deals you can put together yourself that should cost around £200 tops each but it will take some work in sorting transport, boats etc

I\'m hoping for a copy of that DVD when Claire brushes up on her PC skills!
