Aye TC Bob, thats my boy LOL

just to put a few reporting errors correct :-
a) ITV - we dont make spars and rivets in consett we make spars and STRINGERS
b) BBC - we dont build all the A380 wing in Consett we make the rear spars (6 pieces totalling 70mtrs per aircraft) and 91 pairs of stringers (all the bottom wing stringers) totalling approx 1700mtrs per aircraft.

this is the \"mid rear inner spar\" (5 mtrs) which sits at the rear of the wing closest to fuselage and supports gear that the trailing edge flaps hinge upon

This is the next spar which joins onto the previous one it`s the \"mid rear outer spar\" 15 mtrs in length (then there is a furthur spar which we again manufacture called \"outer rear spar\" 15 mtrs which fits onto the end of the previous one and supports gear for the ailerons . a total of 35 mtrs each wing .

Then this is a selection of stringers which run along the length of the wing parallel to the spars and form the cage which the outer skin is riveted onto (this is only a small selection we produce 91 pairs per aircraft (for A380 alone, along with several other aircraft types)

TC, LOL Thats Dave, senior CNC engineer who bore the brunt of programming that part ... LOL he`s proud of it :) :)

Marc, models to fly as a hobby but fullsize to make as a means to pay for the hobby (s)

Is that right you only loaded them up with the forklift Norman and your only on a YOPS scheme anyway ? :P

Oh PS , is my boat ok best mate ?

norman could you not make me a boat while no one is looking, by the looks of that place you could work there for a week before you saw anyone, go on norman no one would notice a boat getting built in the corner.

Dave - yeah I make the tea and drive the forklift LOL :) LOL

Ken - I`ve tried it ..... LOL that why I now make the tea :) :) :)

Thats very modest of Norman , I know he had some arse clenching moments and put a lot of hard work in to the project . Congratulations and well done mate .

Dave.... we both know that the arse clenching moments were when some cheeky bugger asked for coffee, and he never knew how to make it haa haa.....Dolly is fine Dave, she is looking forward to see Richy with the new deck brush
