Just my luck off to ireland on sunday and our lass wont let me take a rod
i agree with you sless i grew up in ireland and if your not fishing and your not drinking there is no point in going.what part of ireland are you going simon.if you suck up to your lass enough she might let you bring your rod and i might be able to put you on some good marks.if your sucking up is no good drop me a pm and ill try my irish charm for you he he he .top of the morning to you

waterford mate thats on the southeast coast.cracking fishing there most of the coastline is untouched.me dad still lives there so i get reports off him every week.the bass fishing is unreal at the minute. i sent him over some bass bandits for his birthday and he has had bass to over 12lb on them.jammy begger,you ever been over mate if you havent you are missing a treat.i went over last year and had seven different species of fish the best was a ballan rass over 3lb had about twenty fish that day alltogether.probably the worst time to go over fishing is february and march it seems to die off.but apart from the fishing the crack is good and the black stuff is even better.if you need any ideas of where to fish if you go over just let me know and i will try and point you in the right direction mate

have you tried the jamesons its like velvet down the old gregory peck.dont tell the old north lads mind if they find out they might turn up full of the stuff and pretend they know what they are talking about fishing ha ha simon for gods sake put your foot down and tell her you are going fishing if you are going to spend quality time with your lass shopping then she can spend quality time with you fishing
