Just to let you know, Marine Drive and most of the pier (I think) are unaccessable due the the costal defense works that are going off.
I\'ve never fished anywhere near Scarborough except Hayburn Wyke. This is VERY rough ground at all states of the tide, but it can throw up some good fish. It\'s a bit of a treck through the wood to get down there put at least the pub where you park does decent food and a good pint!
