Bit of Bassing

Had a trip out last night (sunday) with el_sid and carl to try and find a bass, set off at about 5 and pointed the car towards whitby, arived at our chosen mark at about half 6 and made the climb down to where we were planning to fish only to be greated by murky and choppy waters we cracked on anyway and made the best of a bad job, the only fish taken by myself on a sliver spinner. Packed up about 10 and made the climb back up to the car.

it was a canny hike and very steep in places the pic doesnt show how steep it actually was

aye thats a canny climb down... worse in wet conditions ...

it can be a productive mark when conditions are right.. and it throws some nice cod out during the winter months...

and for the less adventurous theres access by a long walk along the cliff bottoms
