bit of help

orite lads im looking for a bit of help on rod building so can some one please tell me what i will need thanks i know it takes time but would like to learn for future prefrences so abit off info will be greatly appreciated i have a old mackrell rod witch i am going to use to practice on i have taken all the eyes off and sanded any lumps and bumps off but the paint has also came off in some parts so what type of paint do i use to paint the blank thanks

p.s if any one can recomend any sites to buy the materials etc will be a big help and also name everything i need thanks lads

it can be an expencive job if youve got to buy eyes, whipping and topcoat.

lots of times it can cost more than the cost of a cheap rod or the rod your building.

well if you dont get any answers from primoman try fishfingers hes also a master at rod building ,i think the paint takes a week or so to set before applying any finish etc
