Speaking to a mate today and he's wanting to go and fish the black hole at Craster, does anyone know where that is ? He was asking me but I haven't a clue, unless I know it as some thing else.... ( I'm officially an owld git now )

Its between cullernose and craster harbour, more towards cullernose. Head into craster and park on the grass next to the kids playground. Its about a 15 minute walk south from here. Or park on the side of the road at swine dene and walk north past cullernose toward craster, also about a 15 minute walk. Take plenty sinkers.

Looking at it on Google earth it looks like its only 15 minutes walk from Cullernose to Craster harbour any way, so it's a bit confusing what to tell him ha ha ha, does it fish the same times of the tide as Cullernose point, IE half water down ?

As per the Bing maps link.

Its heavy ground mind so make sure your equipped for it and watch it in a swell - them waves will smash up over and through you if you dont keep an eye out !

park up at playground in craster , follow path coastal south when you come to a big gate go through and immediatly turn left and walk to rock edge that should put you at the black hole , but be very wary if notherly wind blowing as it can very dangerous

u cant miss it m8 the black hole is bang centre, between hole 'n' the dyke & cullernose point.
the black hole is also cut out in2 the shoreline with a big square rock 2 the right of it.
y named the black hole??? i guess its because what ever u chuck in it 9 times out of 10 u dont get it all back lol can b very heavy on the gear.

i normaly fish south side m8, found it much better well in2 the flood.

My mate blanked at the black hole last night but he was talking to some lads fishing the point one had one 9 1/2 lb he got it a half hour before top of the water on blacks tipped with crab.
