Black Middens

Has anyone ever fished the black middens before?

It was in this month\'s sea angler and i\'m surprised cause i never seem to see anyone fishing there. What part of the black middens is it?

I didnt know you could fish it, mind you, you must be carefull of that tide coming in.

If i was going to fish it, what sort of rod and reel am i looking at for using there (light beach caster/heavy ground rod, 6500 c3 ct/7000)?

Park on the top and walk down or walk right from the Ferry, LOL, use your normal beach set-up & cast towards the end of the North Pier

I\'ve not fished it mate, but i\'ve seen people parking up at the car park opposite the priory and wandering down there at night..

the tides are a bit small for the middens this weekend, if you do decide to fish it sometime be very careful cos you can easily become cut off with the tide coming in the back of you so watch the water when its flooding. :exclam:

Get paid on thursday so it might be a bit hard like. How much is it like? What day is it on, because it all depends on what day its on?
