Blank on the Tyne was all mine, lol yep fished from next to South Shields ferry landing 4-6 not even a knock, the bairn caught a crab. It was empty right along there which was surprising tbh, so we moved to the spirit and fished from 6-8, same again not even a knock.

Baits we used were fresh rag, macky, sand eel, squid and fresh peelers. At around 8 we gave up and came home, when we were coming away the landing along that way had filled up but I think it was the same for everyone.

Strange one that Pete, I fished the Walkway last night (Thursday) from 7:30 to 10:45 and had half a dozen coalies to 40cm and a Dab. 7 fish in a little over three hours fishing, all to frozen crab from the middle of the channel.

A few lads turned up just before I started packing up (work this morning) and they too were into good coalies (over 40cm) as the sun went down and the ebb kicked in.

It's certainly a come down from spinning for macky, it was the lads idea to go to the Tyne so I blame him haha. Yeah anyway all baits coming back untouched the odd few stripped by crabs, very disappointing session.

Sounds like a corker session that Malcolm, I don't really get along with the walkway it's too snaggy, not good when fishing with a youngun no disrespect to the lad like "he reads these threads" lol.
