i did it again today ....blanked.....again ...only difference is the baits were coming back stripped yesterday today it was coming back untouched.... tried to do a post mortem ...baits used rig choice distance conditions ...can think of what i am not doing right .

It was hard going on Shields too mate, four and a half hours for one 33cm Plaice and a sunburnt heed :red:

its been a hard season i do have a moan on the site but will i head down there again yes i will i would like to slowly and surely learn the beach and regardless of the blanking and the rain in the past few sessions i had a good time on the beach ...ill be there again soon as i get some

keep trying m8 rays caught there every summer now, also on night tides doggies whities and there was a few coddling last week

same result again ....learnt a few new things tho ....circle hooks are awkward with worms unless u lash em on ..bait loaders are a goodsend and circle hooks and relay clips dont release as well as regular hooks ...happened twice ...so changed to regular hooks sakuma mantas and problem solved...slowly but surely i will get there...also forget baout buying arrowhead squid from asda its too soft and i think its parboiled maybe tho it was on the fish counter.....again thats all folks
