Had a run over yesterday and got on the pier for 1315.
Conditions looked okay fished there until about 1830. Quite few bites from small fish and I got 3 undersize codlins about HW.
Anyway thought I 'd give the beach a go just the south side of the pipe. Fished there until 2300 ....didn't get a bite, quite a bit of movement on the water pulling me gear along the bottom so I was using a long trace hoping to snaffle something but it wasn't to be.
2 rods on the go, baits used, blow and yellow tail lug, razors, squid. The 3 small fish on the pier took the blow tipped with squid.
I'm in half a mind having another shot tomorrow at Lynemouth Supposed to be fresh in the morning but dropping off for the afternoon....wander if it'll be fishable?
