Fished from 2 til 4.30 (low tide) on blyth beach - middle of the beach behind where the toilets are.
Only had mackeral as bait as it was a last minute decision to fish. I fished at distance with a big bait whilst my girlfriend fished close in with a 2 hook flapper. Nil fish to the distance rod but close in my girlfriend had 1/2lb Plaice and a double shot of flounder - the biggest about 1 1/2lb. Nice to be out in the fresh air and hopefully the start of a good winter season.
