Still buzzing after last nights session i had a look at Blyth beach again today and it looked perfect for another go tonight so made some rigs up and got some bait sorted and was down fishing just after 10pm.
1st cast as i was on the phone to Tony i had my 1st fish on which i left on to see if i could get a double hook up......just the 1 codling tho about 1lb so it went back and my next bait went out.
Wondered over to talk to see what others were getting and after 20 mins looked over to see my rod on the ground so ran back over and picked it up to find loads of slack line....when i caught up with it there seemed to be a lot of weight but it just turned out to be a coalie on top hook and bass on bottom....coalie just over 35cm and bass 41cm.
Next cast nowt and a coalie on my last chuck before calling it a night. Never saw any other codling coming in but speaking to Keith i think me managed 2.
Funny how quick the fishing can go off!! Should have went to Lynemouth :roll:
