Blyth beach last night

Arrived 7-30 at toilet block, perfect conditions, had 5 casts using lug, not a sniff.
3 other rods there well spread out, no fish there either. Don't know if it's netted, but couldn't believe there was nowt

Aye, I was the first to go after 4 casts and an undersize coalie. It looked perfect.

It’s all gone very quiet Arthur.
We were out on Sunday night, crunching over the frozen seaweed to the rock ends at St Mary’s. Two hours, some small, tentative bites and no fish. The defrosted peeler was starting to refreeze by the time we left.

I tried same place as you up to high water, and also nothing.
