Blyth beach/pier

Me and Seabeast Fished blyth beach last nite,south beach end in front of houses.Sea looked perfect,1hr to bottom water,2 hrs up..Picking up loads of weed...lost 2 sets of gear possibly due to kelp washed in after heavy seas of last week.Only 1 small codling.
Moved onto South Pier to use up the bait.Fished the bend up to top water,only 1 undersize whiting caught.Couple of lads came off the end with 5 sizeable whiting.
Never mind still enjoyed the sesh even though fishing was poor and will be back out for another go soon.

Cheers for that mate, I think you've made my mind up for me; I'll definitely give the beach a miss for my comp tonight!

I found a canny whiting on the beach today. Well, the dog did lol.

mr G force, get on the rocks and sniff out some big piggys ;D

Sod's Law - went elsewhere & caught nothing but undersize codlings & scotchies and it was won with a mixed bag from......Blyth Beach! (Lots of undersize codling there too, apparently).

Think I'll give up..................................until tomorrow
