Blyth beach.

Just got back in from a session with KeithB, not the most productive night I have had but still good to be out. Nigels was out walking his dog and stopped for some good crack before the cold set in.

Just after he left I caught a Coley and a wee while later after we got out onto the sand bar Keith got a flattie. Must remember to post that letter tomorrow mate lol.

A while later Keith got a tremendous bite on his light Triplex and proceeded to land his first ever Bass. Just a schoolie but I couldn't have wiped the smile off his face if I had nicked his beloved season ticket.

Well done mate, yet another milestone for ya.

Jim.

Cheers Jim, that bass was the only thing I had to smile about, I had a nightmare when casting, 2 birds nests and when I did manage a half decent cast my line must of snapped on a rock or summit. Thanks again for all your help mate, like I said if you hadn't been on hand I would of probably packed up & gone home. Just one of those nights I suppose, maybe my mind was on other things, like the two cases of Grolsch in my car :D

Nice one lads.
I fished the ramp at Cambois and was thinking of moving to Blyth till things picked up.
I am tempted to give the beach a go tonight.
All depends if the winds picks up to much.
