Braved the cold this morning and caught 2 cod weighing 3lb each.

Well I had an excellent night as Critchaz will verify.

Good to meet ya for the first time Lee (hope I have the name right).

Thanks to him I managed to land a personal best of 9lb 6oz, smashing my last pb by 6lb 12oz.

Critchaz went the whole length of Blyth pier and went a long way underneath the pier to get the fish for me.
I would have beached it but my line got snagged on a protruding lump of timber (it was panic stations).

Thanks again m8, I hope I can do the same for you some day.

9lb 6oz is a very good fish that, knew blyth would fish last nite. Well done mate, you get any pics? Most peeps will help their fellow anglers without question, well done on the lad helping you get the fish.
