Well not much of a catch report i caught 7 flatties (2 decent) 2 whiting (both small) and two colies (both over 30 cm) fishing the tide down last night. The wind was an absolute nightmare and flatish, however the skin i have left on my face is about 10 years younger beats a good exfoliation!!!!


my mate got a good coaly and two decentr flatties.

Any tips on Blyth beach would be appreciated as i have fished it loads over different tides and conditions and always seem to pick loads of bits up in the gully and when that empties out a fair few from the sand bar but all bits and bobs up to 40 cm great for matches but no cod reports are always stating good bags of cod?? tried all bates etc?? few other lads fishing closer to middle toilets i wonder if they caught anything decent??

Would call that a very canny report mate, plenty fish caught and of decent stamp, enough to keep ya rod happily biting away!

Well done m8 see you got a large' tringlet' flattie there not many caught these days I've not seen one in years.

some fish to keep ya interested m8 only fished it once last year there was lads bagging up on good codling the night before when we turned up the next night it didnt fish as good ,never 2 days alike ,oh the next night it fished its socks off again whilst we was sitting at home

yeah was in with a nice little tripple shot mate, andy great beach and was busy as always so enjoyed thoroughly however how come i always miss the cod! incidentally i was fishing 2 rods 10 caught on three hook flapper and 1 on 3.0 pennel pully rig (cracking bite for 33 coaly):red:
