Went off Blyth/Cambois this morn,me and one of the lads launched around 1030 and conditions was good and off we headed to one of the further offshore wrecks and the drift was quite fast which produced nothing so headed further in and hit the reefs which produced a few small codling upto 2lb.
Biggest pain today was the bloody flys !!! there was smarms of them which made things intersting !
Not content with the small stuff I headed back out to one of the other wrecks which straight away produced a nice cod which took one of my fav blue shads.
Not a bad day out apart from the flys so hopefully thew weather will settle more and hit the wrecks again soon.
