Hit blyth today for a small session mainly to teach a novice. headed for the peir but it was packed 10-15 people so we headed to harbour a bit of easy fishing Anyway Three of us went Loads of bite's i pulled 3 size whiting 1 1/2 , 2.0 lb Baits took Blacks,rag,squid my beginer mate took 3 under size same bait's used and lee blanked sorry mate lol. Not a sniff of cod for us bloke next to us had 1 codling 1 eel (pink spiney thing) an 5 Whiteys, not bad 4 a quick one 3/4 hrs

best on a big south easterly as this pushes cod up as far as bates coal loaders. loads of jetties to fish off and also the old ferry landings. always fish the tide up and never on the ebb as its c...p hope this helps
