Blyth peir and Seaton Sluice

started at the pier and fished just after the bend for a couple of hours and caught nowt and never seen anything caught. thn moved down to sluice fishing from the harbour entrance. 1st cast caught a canny sized coalie but then 2 surfers turned up came off the rocks and almost took my line out and started to surf or should i say try and surf right where i was casting :mad::mad::mad:.... i never had another bite after that.

In all the years i have lived in Blyth and visited the coast i have only ever seen one person surf.
The rest sit and bob on the boards then stand up and fall off as fast as it took me to type that. But if they stray into your area you are already fishing as long as it is a free area then a 6 ounce lead cast usually focuses their minds.

thats bad crack mate !!
i remember fishing shields pier in the summer and getting pestered by jet skiers !!!
the place is big enough for everyone so why cant they respect the fact your fishing and just moveon a bit away from you ?
some people like to "p" people off just for the hell of it if you ask me
