I had one of 9lb 6oz from there last Thurs night Davey as you have probably read in my post (New year lunker).

It is just like anywhere, right place, right time, right bait.
The fish can be there one tide & gone another.
Just gotta stick at it until ya hit on.

One thing to remember, you are fishing on soft ground from Blyth pier.
Mixed ground venues tend to kick out more fish.

Aye m8,read about your fish, good cod that.Think its the lack of numbers of fish caught to me,think its too EASY to fish that makes it so popular,i.e no tackle losses, just my opinion.Do like fishing it,just wish it would produce for me!!!

I fished there again tonight, all I got was a couple of bites that came to nothing.

Couple of small flatties caught & one decent fish lost on the lift by one lad.
