Blyth Pier 09/02/09

Popped along the pier for a couple of hours last night to finish up the bait from Sunday, fished before the bend with rag and razor. First cast got a rockling within a couple of minutes, half an hour later a nice Whitey. After that I was plagued with regular whiting rattles but also a couple of good solid knocks twice in the space of the last hour that frustratingly both failled to connect with whatever it was hitting the bait.

Still, pleasant evening and a couple of fish so better than blanking.

Spoke to a few lads coming on and off the pier, dunno if it was anyone off here?
