blyth pier 30-4-11

fished Blyth pier today from 2 till 5 just for a little spur of the moment sesh. It was a windy day but not too uncomfortable and the sea was throwing up some massive swells which resulted in me hardly holding bottom. I managed 5 fish 1 flounder 2 whiting 1 coalie and 1 codling all undersize so returned safely. Quite challenging conditions but all in all a canny little session. Bait used was rag. I took my spinning rod too which resulted in nothing as i expected but it was a bit of fun between casts. Tight lines alan

ive only had about ten off it in the 5 years ive fished it i think shields pier is better for ya if thats what u want mate

wey ner gordon lol. Ive never noticed the movement that much and didnt today until i sat on my tackle box and thought i was in japan a few weeks ago for a minute lol

forgot to mention the crabs were out in force there must of been an army of em out there ....... Very annoying ha ha

not a chav in sight thank god. There was 4 lads at the dogleg of the pier who had'nt had owt when i went past and they didnt stay long and one lad next to me who had a few littleuns aswell
