me and my mate decided to have a trip along blyth pier for awhile. we were only there for hour+half max, we headed straight for the very end of the pier as it has been the most productive spot on the pier for us in the past.when we arrived it was realy strong wind coming from the southerly direction but the rain had stopped so that was abit of a bonus. There were 4 other blokes on the end they had tryed bait fishing and spinning for mackerel but had no luck at all.we both set up with daylites and spinners and first cast both hooked in mackerel and just about every cast after that we did aswell, the wind dropped of completly and the rain stayed away but the fish stayed, we were catching the fish 3 and 4 at a time.all fish were returned to the water alive.
