Blyth pier 4/7/09

went out early hours this morning, i was at the pier for approx 04:00 hrs, till about 09:45 hrs. just out for some mackrel bashing, theres me spinning away, when my rod went heavy, woop woop, first one of the year i thought, wow this is really heavy i thought, too heavy for a mackrel.?.? and it was it was huge. a huge bloody plastic bag full of water. i didnt catch anything else. i saw 10-15 mackrel caught... roll on 2morrow out again i hope...

just a quick note, i forgot. i'd like to say thanks too the peen-a*se who left there rubbish near where i was fishing, by the way a cleaned up after you. and thanx for the kit u left in the bag, spinner, set of feathers and weights. not all a loss.....

It was good to meet you mate and have a crack. I just got a few wee coalies at about 3.45am after fishing Cambois and Blyth beaches all night.

Must do another early morning on the pier, its nice then without the crowds.

aye its alreet m8, shortly after u'd gone they started comin. as i left the end had about 12 ppl on and ppl really close to get on as soon as others had left. are u out again 2morroz m8?

Not tomorrow, might have a few hours off the beach tonight though the sea is a bit flat. Got to take the missus out tomorrow though
