Blyth pier 5/12

Fished it down to the low water, only seen 1 under size fish, nobody was catching and there was a fair amount of rods out.
But oh was it cold

its a shame there was fish there last week when the sea was big i had 4 last thursday 2 .12.10

and lost a good fish

Hi Waldof, I'm new to sea fishing and really want to join a club for tips and knowledge from more experienced anglers. I live in Seghill and was wondering if there was a club in the Seaton valley area idealy... Seaton Delaval, New hartley, Seaton Sluice and blyth would be great! I don't drive at the moment and these areas are easy to get to by bus. If you have any idea that would be a great help.

Aye. I was one ov many on the pier. Only few small fish about. Had a few hrs on the beach but kept getting weeded up. Crap session

I don't know of any web contacts for the Sluice club, although I know many of the members. If you can get to Lewis Tackle in Whitley Bay, Simon (the owner) fishes with them & does a bit with regard to organizing matches etc.
