Blyth Pier 8/07/08

Had a trip down to Blyth Pier today 4.00 pm until 6.00 pm, sea surprisingly calm but very coloured on the river side. Quite a few down, about 50/50 bait fishing and spinning. In the couple of hours I was there saw a few small coalies caught on daylights and spinners + 4 mackerel caught on the pier end seaward side, a blank for me but enjoyed the fresh air.

all the mackreal are down in hartlepool and don't look like there coming up so no point in trying for them till they do come up if they do

Haha I dont know how many times I have used that phrase when talking to other lads on the beach
