Friday evening, spinning rod, finally connected with my first macky of the year, hooked 7 and landed 6 of them - very first one of the year chucked the hook right at the top of the lift!

Saturday evening - decided to try some daylights on the beach caster (never tried that before), ended up landing 7 and dropping 3 on the lift up, packed in when that rain suddenly hit.

This morning early start again with the beach caster, very patchy but landed 5 and a couple of coalies. Fish were turning up a couple at a time then nowt for a while then a couple again.

Plenty of sandeels again each time I was down. Been a canny weekend all in all.
