Blyth pier doggie!

Fished blyth pier 2day from 7.00am till 4.30pm. Only had 1 fish but to my suprise it was a 2lb dogfish. Only one ive ever seen caught there. Told they were nice to eat so i took it home, never again, had one hell of a job skinning it.

I've posted this recipe before for dogfish which I got from a lad in SW scotland.

Get a big pan of water and bring to the boil. Place the whole dogfish into the pan, together with a house brick.

Simmer for two hours

Take the dogfish and brick out of the pan. Throw the dogfish away and eat the brick

heard about your fish today on the pier there was another caught in the summer sometime last year jamcod

Not uncommon around here but its the first I've heard of one from Blyth Pier,nice one mate
