Fished the beach after you Waldof 2hrs down 6 - 8 this morning and yes you made the right decision. Although the NE wind was light the sea was white horses way past my casting distance but tried it out anyway. Seen all the head lights on the pier and thought that's where I should have been. Still pleanty of bait left so try again tomorrow morning (pier that is).

i fished the middle toilets last night had two cod one 2.5 and one 2 pound, also had my biggest whiting to date at 1.5 returned
