Fished blyth pier last night with scotty91. after a phonecall about 5pm scotty persuaded me to go out with him. got to the pier bang on 7.30pm and walked along the pier and we setup about 20 yards from the end. scotty had a few knocks. we were there about an hour and a half then we moved to the end. fishing with lug and mussel courtesy of scotty, i pulled in a nice 46cm whiting 
my biggest whiting yet. then something strange occured. i along with some other lad fishing seen a bit shooting star / meteorite then after that loads of weird red pink purple and white lights shooting across the sky which alot of ppl witnessed. we assumed it was a meteor shower. enough of that, it went quiet for a bit, so we moved to the bend on the pier where scotty pulled in a small codling. it put an end to my blank which lasted 5 fishing outings and put food on my table. all in all a good night. nice one again scotty mate!
