Blyth Pier Sunday 6th Dec 2009

We (me and nephew) fished half way along blyth wooden pier before the bend tonight, plenty people coming past saying nothing much caught at end.

Wasnt too bad weather wise.

Anywho, we managed 1 flatty just under 1lb (32 cm), caught on squid stuffed with mussel Nephew decided to keep it, hope he enjoys it.

A cod would have been nice but I think we were in the wrong place. Maybe next time

fished blyth pier on friday night, near the end then coming back just before the corner then round the corner and then about half way up caught nowt!!!

Nice one Davy at least you caught somit, I was on the beach @ stubblies not a fluffing bite, good sea aswell!!!, but I'll try agin @ the wk/end
