fishin.jpgFished pier today from 11ish till 2pm with Justchips and Sonic Ayton, managed first mackie of the year,Sonic Ayton got about 4,poor Justchips managed his biggest of the season,an ASDA CARRIER BAG. Seen a couple of dozen caught from the bend to the end and plenty small poddlers and sand eels, taking both spinners and feathers.Majority were taken on the end casting straight out towards sluice, very few taken in the mouth of river. Not bad for the couple of hours that we were there, more than what i expected. Was plenty room as it was misty, damp and abit nippy, all the once a year little brats must have stopped at home infront of fire getting sorted for school the morn

On the pier from 5am till 730am. All i got was a very small crab ( no comments necessery)

Just got back asfter a quick stop off - Fished the rocks at King Edward Bay between 7.30 and 9pm, caught one small pollack on a silver toby. Mate caught the smallest Flounder I've ever seen (it measured 2inches!)

Popped up to the pier for a half hour to see if anything was doing - I was a bit miffed - saw one guy coming off as we approached asked how many he had in the bag - 47! I mean come on what are you going to do with 47 fish - some of them were a decent size as well, keep 4 or 5 put the rest back. Got to the end of the pier and others were packing up, bags of 20 and 30 fish coming off the pier. In all 7 anglers probably accounting for 200 plus fish. One lad quoting "it was great, I was pulling in 4 at a time!"

I don't think so!:D

Most of them were little Chavs - 4 together in a renault Clio chavved up.

Swearing and drinking and left a right bloody mess when they left.

Old tarp draped over the side, a knackered deck chair, cider bottles, rotten bait bags, hooks and line, cans and food rubbish too!

Next time I'll take a black bag with me and clear up some of the crap they leave or else we'll all get banned from fishing there!
