couple of decent flounders there, i think the size limit is 28cm ?? so if you had been fising a match you might have stood a chance given how cack the fishing has been!

Cracking couple of fish mate. I went up to Blyth to fish the pier but got lost and ended up on the quayside. I could see the pier but just couldnt seem to find my way onto it. Any tips would be appreciated.:red:

i did the same thing 1st time i tied to find it :red: . coming up from seaton sluice take the 3rd exit on the roundabout and follow the road round the nice chippy is on the right & new houses flats to the left , carry on past the bandstand on the right and then you come to a caravan storage place on the right turn right at the junction and there is a car park to the right park in that (its safe) at the end of the carpark is a hole in the wall that leads to blyth beach for the pier walk up the road all the way maybee 5 mins ,and you will see the pier . most people are supprised how narrow it is when they 1st see it .hope this helps :) failing that have a look on google earth you were so near
