Blyth pier

Fished Blyth pier tonight 3/1/14 with Fatyorkie.We both got fish a sized codling each,Paul's was about 2.5lb,he also had two small tommies and mine was 6lb 14oz.Baits used were lug and frozen crab.Seen about a dozen fish caught by others on the pier all fish were a good stamp.Great night but very windy.

Thinking of having a dodge up that way tomorrow afternoon.

Whats the best tides, marks and baits for the pier and wheres best to park?

Will weed be a problem if the seas away?

2hrs either side of high tide best but can fish at any stage. Its not really a weedy venue. Off the end is the best mark but the bend will throw up fish if the seas away. Park in the carpark next to the hole in the wall and walk the half mile or so to the pier. Personally I wouldn't fish there without razorfish and lug.
