:confused::DYes me lads you are all quite right, I bin humbled eh!, after carefull scrutiny of my photos it was a Seatrout, but still a great fish to land off a pier eh!, :cool: and wot a fighter:eek
Fished the Cambios hole today, 1 hr before low an 3 hrs after, result 1 scotchie, 1 tiny coalie, there was a doz or so rods already out, not much coming in, much the same as me.
Keep on chucking!!!:)

Was on there last Monday morning early and my mate lost one which we estimated at about 3 pounds as well. Gorgeous fish. Could have been a bass but I would stake on a sea trout.
 
Was on the pier briefly yesterday evening, windy and sea was choppy. I got nowt, lad on the end had a small mackeral, only other fish were a couple of sandeels.
